First of all, you will need to set up Google Analytics (GA) for your website. Since you're reading a post about a CRO, I'll assume you're already doing this. Don't worry if you don't, Haram has covered you.
Once you've set up your GA, go to your account, go to the Admin tab, click Tracking Info> Tracking Codes, and you'll see the Website Tracking box with the GA code as shown below. Will be done.

Copy this code and put it in a safe place as you will need it later. I usually paste it into Notepad and save it to an incredibly organized desktop. Add the container name (this is the URL of your website, omit http / https)
You should see the following screen.
That's where Google Optimize comes in. This CRO tool is free and can be set up in minutes. It's also very intuitive and makes A / B and multivariate testing very easy. If you work in-house, you can surprise your boss. If you're in an agency, be prepared to surprise your clients with stunningly detailed reports and significantly improve your conversion rates.
